🎉 Registration for AlgoNation 2026 Is Now Open
After months of preparation, AlgoNation 2026 is officially open for registration. 500 seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The ₹99 entry fee covers all four rounds.
We're thrilled to open registration for the first edition of AlgoNation — India's national multi-stage hackathon for CS and AI students.
Starting today, any undergraduate or postgraduate CS/AI student at a recognised Indian college can register at ₹99. This fee is all-inclusive: it covers Round 1 (online coding), Round 2 (team formation), Round 3 (in-person project build), and Round 4 (grand finale and awards ceremony).
Seats are capped at 500 and allocated in order of registration. We expect to fill up before the July 31 deadline — so if you're planning to register, don't wait.
Round 1 kicks off on Sunday, August 16, 2026, with a timed algorithmic coding challenge on the AlgoNation platform. Results will be announced the same evening.

Six engineers from Razorpay, Microsoft, Swiggy, PhonePe, Sarvam AI, and CRED will be on-site during Round 3 to guide teams building their projects.

We're excited to announce the six mentors who will be available during Round 3 (August 30) to support teams throughout the build day.
Our mentors cover the full stack of what teams might need: backend infrastructure, frontend engineering, ML pipelines, DevOps, data science, and security. They'll be available during scheduled windows throughout the day to review architecture, answer technical questions, and help teams get unstuck.
These aren't just helpers — they're industry engineers who will have a first look at your work before the Grand Finale. Building a relationship with a mentor during Round 3 could be one of the most valuable parts of the entire competition.
Full mentor availability windows will be shared directly with qualifying teams ahead of Round 3.

AlgoNation has confirmed hiring partnerships with companies across fintech, SaaS, AI, and cloud infrastructure — giving top finalists direct access to interview pipelines.

One of the core promises of AlgoNation has always been that winning — or even making it to the finals — translates into real career access, not just a certificate.
We're pleased to confirm that we've established hiring partnerships with companies across fintech, SaaS, AI research, and cloud infrastructure. After the Grand Finale, all finalist profiles (including their project repos, AlgoNation scores, and certificates) will be shared directly with these companies.
For top performers, this means your AlgoNation result is essentially a pre-screening that gets you past the CV filter. Hiring partners will be able to reach out to any finalist they're interested in for interviews or internship discussions.

A Look at the Round 1 Contest Platform
Round 1 will run on the AlgoNation contest platform — a custom-built environment supporting C++, Python, Java, and Go. Here's what to expect on contest day.

Round 1 (August 16) will use a purpose-built contest platform designed for reliability under concurrent load. We're sharing a preview of what to expect so participants can prepare.
The platform supports submissions in C++17, Python 3.12, Java 21, and Go 1.22. Problems will be scored on correctness and efficiency — both time and memory limits apply.
The contest window is 3 hours (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM IST). There will be 5–7 problems of increasing difficulty. Partial scoring is applied — you earn points for passing test cases even if your solution isn't fully correct.
Platform access will open at 8:00 AM on August 16 so participants can verify their login and environment before the contest begins. We strongly recommend logging in early.
A practice problem will be released on August 11 so everyone can get familiar with the submission flow before contest day.
